In 1997 Eddie Bauer entered into a licensing agreement with the Lane Company, offering an exclusive collection of Eddie Bauer HOME furniture, available through Eddie Bauer HOME outlets. In 1998, expansion of Eddie Bauer Sportswear, regular fashion apparels and Eddie Bauer Home outlets continued. Over 600 stores and outlets were opened throughout North America, Germany and Japan. The ever popular Eddie Bauer outlets are still expanding to the newer destinations making the brand more popular.
